On top of the Expo I've been working on my Mixed Media art. Just a little something for myself. I love to challenge myself. I like to try something that might not come out as planned but I push through it and make it something I can be content with. Contentment is a big deal for me lol. I am my ow worst critic so content is a high achievement.
Don't you cringe when you first start a project and it looks like an eight year old might have designed it? Oh I've had a few of those lately, but I don't quit until I'm happy with it. You never know how it will turn out unless you force yourself to finish it.

Here are a couple of what was I thinkings to wow I would have never thought.
"Lola" |
"Sophie" |
I know they might not be everyones cup of tea but I feel inspired by them.
I've also been working on my writing this week. I 'm finishing up my second novel and feel nervous. This is another project that I fear whether it will be received well. Butterflies are choking me with anticipation. It's taking a tad bit longer than I had hoped but I feel that I rushed the first book before it was truly ready. I want to do this one right. I am reworking the first one as well; not changing story line and such just the style and grammar. I hope to have "The Guardian's Soul" out by mid April and the reworked version of "The Guardian's Kiss" out by the summer.
Well that's just a little catch up about me. Check back in tomorrow for a few more inspiring blogs!!
