Prima Lovelies and a Touch of Inspiration

I will be the first to admit, I've been a slacker lol. I have been so busy, I have had no time to scour the web  for inspiring Blogs and sites. I apologize. I hope to find more for you in the coming weeks. Until then you are stuck with my pages. :) It is Tax day today and I was buried knee deep in receipts and deductions. I feel like my brain might just roll out of my head. To unscramble my brain from all those numbers, I figured I'd try and blog a little.

Here are a few Prima projects I've been working on. It's been awhile since I've had the chance to create with no limits, requirements.

This Mixed Media Album cover is a canvas Prima cover. It comes with a resist pattern on the front which I altered with Ranger Adirondack sprays and Distress Stains, Gesso, altered tape, and stamps. I used a few of Prima's new wood pieces and butterflies. I love that the new butterflies can be used with or with out the included clip. 

The Nature Garden Collection has amazing blue and purple hues in it. It makes it easy to blend multiple colors together without it looking too overworked.

 My best Quality...Are my children. And Karlie is one of them :) I love how fun and free spirited she is and i think that Prima's Doodle Deux Collection fits her perfectly.

Last is this Fab little layout using Prima's new Wooden gears. i see myself hoarding these lol. I used Helmar 450 lightly in strips over the page as a resist. You can see in the above pic how the adhesive creates contrast. :)
