Virtual Gallery Walk Day 5!!!

We have reached the end to our week long Gallery walk. I felt so fortunate to be included with such a talented group of artists who all had a wide range of style and aesthetic.  We all such diverse sources of inspiration and was fun to see how all of us interpreted said inspiration.

Today's Featured artist is Cheryl Waters. Take a look at her blog!! She creates amazing mixed media creations.

I have one more project for this week. The lovely Lorraine Bell is currently abroad so I offered to fill in.

For my inspiration today, I chose a piece by an American artist, Bruce Gray. I loved the circle pattern on his large canvas; I thought I would take the idea of the layered circles and accent my girl canvas with them.

"Spots #4"Bruce Gray

This is on a 12"x12" black canvas. Colored with Montana Cans Acrylic pens, FW Acrylic Artist inks, Pantel white gel pen, gesso, and India Ink
I created this piece with the thought of the month long awareness of Breast Cancer. The pink against the black background screamed to me before I even started--I wanted to create something fun.

Thank you SO much for joining us this week. We have had such a great time sharing with you. Have a enjoyable and very creative weekend.
