Blog Hop with Ice Resin and Faber-Castell

You've been following the ICE Resin® and Faber-Castell blog hop this week and today I'd like to share this mixed media project I created using Faber-Castell and ICE Resin® products.

I started by priming a piece of Walnut Hollow wood with gesso. Then using Faber-Castell Polychromos colored pencils, PITT black pen, Art Grip Aquarelle pencilsI drew my Bloom Girl, "Faith". Once the drawing was finished I accented the background with ICE Resin® Shattered Mica in Silver. On the altered background it gives a nicely aged touch.

Once the piece was done I finished the wood off with a thin layer of ICE Resin®. It gives the piece a high gloss finish and I love the glass look. It expands on the vintage feel I wanted to give the piece.

Now don't forget to check out all the blogs in the hop. You have until midnight Eastern time on Sunday, May 18 to post a comment. Winners will be announced Monday, May 19.  Two winners will win a Designing with Gelatos kit OR a prize pack from ICE Resin® (a Resin Plunger, a Bezel, Medium and a Relique).

Just the thought of what those poor girls and their familiesare going through I can't begin to imagine, but do hope they know the Lord so hopefully they may feel some hope, strength and support.
