Spring is in the air LOVE layout!!!!!

Hey Everyone!!! Well Spring might actually be upon us! (here in Alberta anyways) All our snow is finally melting and my kids are driving me crazy with spring fever! Lol!
So this month I thought it would be super fun to do a spring layout featuring Jamie's 6x6 Anenome flower stencil. I think I might be addicted to this stencil, I cant stop using it. I am so happy with the way my project turned out it and it was so fun to create. I hope you get inspired and play along. All of Jamie's NEW 6x6 Flower stencil's would make an amazing page!

Step1
I took a plan piece of 12x12 light blue cardstock, I cut about a 1/2" off all sides making it an 11x11 piece. Layering it on to Prima's NEW Bella Rouge-Belles Fleurs pattern paper. Taking some Liquitex Modeling Paste and adding some Gelato, I used Snow Cone. Mixing the two together made a beautiful blue texture paste.

Step 2
Using Jamie's NEW 6x6 Anenome Stencil I started putting my blue modeling paste through using a palette knife. Letting each flower dry then adding the next because they ar so close together. I added a few of the flower buds in the spaces.

Step 3

Next using my Lime Wedge Color Bloom Spray I made splatters all over my page. Then
taking 2 of my to 3x3 photo's and layered them onto the Bella Rouge-Belles Fleurs pattern paper and pop dotting them in the center of my big bunch of flowers.

I glued Jamie's NEW stunning thread letters with Fabri-Tak. The  LO above my photo 1st photo and VE below the 2nd photo.

 Step 4
Then making some quick banners I added 2 under my photo and 1 above.

Taking a few Prima's amazingly flowers and leaves, gluing them beside the banners.
As well as tucking a few in between layers of the 12x12 and 11x11 main pages. (See Next Pic)

 Step 5
Then fussy cutting the tiny red flowers from Prima's Belles Fleurs pattern paper and adding them to my page as well as tucking them in between the layers of the main page.

Thinking I needed to add a little something more I took my Anemone stencil and added a few white flower buds with moulding paste. (very carefully)

Then last but not least I added some Free Spirit Say it in Crystals.

 Finished Layout and Close Up's

I hope you all enjoyed my project and feel inspired to play along!!
xoxoxo

  1. Nice layout. I will turn this into a card since that is what I do. Love the idea of using the paste.

  2. The anemone with the modeling paste is so lovely! I love tone on tone and it works here especially well with 3D. Truly a beautiful page!
