Already Sunday....

Wow what a weekend!! I finally got over my head ache ughhhhh!!! And a little back problem has disappeared yah!!! I crafted somewhat all weekend. Today our LSS had it's second Birthday :) So we had free make n takes and prizes and gifts all day!!! i demoed UTEE and the Ranger melting pot. Made some cool stuff I plan on incorporating onto a page in the next couple of days. Made a LO of Karlie :) With all My Little Shoe Box.

I am really debating on purchasing a Slice.

If anyone has one, please let me know how you like it :) I would appreciate the input.

Also tonight through tomorrow is voting for Vintage Plum.... Please go over and take a look at everyone's work and place your votes. It would mean a lot to everyone participating. Everyone have a wonderful week. :)

  2. So glad that your headache is better and that you got some scrapbooking done. OK, you asked about the slice. Well, Hubby bought me a Cricut and then he bought he a Silhouette and then a Slice, do you see a pattern here.....men and electronics!!!!! I have all three and I use the slice the most. It is so easy, convenient if you go out to crop, takes up little space and the little cartridges are so easy to store!!!! I like all the fonts and die cuts that they offer. So easy to use!!!! I am not a real big die cut person, but the slice is my go to out of the three of these cutting machines. Hope that helps!!!! I am off to VOTE!!!!! Thank You for the sweet comments!!!! Just love the new header!!!! Have a Happy Monday!

  5. So glad you are feeling better...headaches of any sort are THE worst! I suffer migraines so I would know! As for the Slice, I have held off purchasing die cutting machines of any sort for so long. I just couldn't bring myself to dive into that big of an investment. I kept thinking of all the scrapping supplies I could buy with just the initial investment of most cutting systems. But when the Slice came out, I was intrigued. Lower cost, more affordable, super portable...I was smitten! And I haven't regretted it in the least! If you have the opportunity to try one out before you buy, I suggest you do so. So many are totally sold on other systems, so I would hate to steer you wrong. Good luck with your decision and best of luck with the contest!!!

  6. Glad your headache is better, Jamie.

I have a Slice and I really like it - it is so small and easy to use. The main thing is knowing you can't cut anything larger than 4". For me that is fine. I really like some of the new designs that are coming out, too. I usually keep mine plugged in while using it - the battery doesn't really last all that long.

Good luck with the VP contest!! Lucy xx

  7. Love your new blog look. I was bummed I didn't participate yesterday at the lss. But we were down the hill and we don't get down there that often, ya know? Especially all the way to Jamul! Anyway, can't wait to see what you come up with on your page with all the goodies you made. I don't know anything about that slice, but it looks fun and easy :)

  8. I have used the slice and it is pretty rockin. Do you have a Hobby Lobby near you? If so, you can totally use a 40% off coupon on it...and I think it would totally be worth it ;)
