Happy Tuesday

Hope everyone's week is going well so far. :) The rain has stopped for the week so far, I guess it is coming back later in the week though. All of us are surviving here :) Lance has Poison Oak from the job he is working on YUCK!!! Poor guy is not having fun lol. I feel a cold coming on............I am willing it away. The kids are health and happy which makes my job a WHOLE lot easier. Have you ever had a gismo, goodie, or must have!!! Mine right now is the Barnes and Noble NOOK. I tried it out and I love it. Not as heavy as a hardback and I would be saving paper.

hehe I have been working on some projects for Tattered Angels this month and got the chance to work with Websters Pages and TA together. All of the new stuff coming to a store near you is is awesome!!!!! Take a look at Tattered Angels Blog I wrote down a couple how tos and hints on my projects this month. I plan on a video tutorial on the technique I used for the canvas.

This card wasn't posted on TA blog this month but i wanted to show ya. I am trying to make myself make cards and stamp more since I have the supplies going to waste.

I also made a altered project for the last Project 52 challenge. It was all about botanicals, wood and wire. This was my take on the challenge. It all started with this ribbon spool from Prima. I have a few left I found in my scrap room so I decided to repurpose one as the stand to my project. I found the twigs and grass from around the yard. The flowers and leaves are Prima. and the bird and rocks are from my friendly local Michaels :D The wood bird house is from Jo-annes. If you hadn't noticed I have been drifting a lot towards altered projects lately. I really need to get back to LOs. So there is another goal of mine. :) Always with the goals lol.

I plan on doing a video tutorial once a month here and on ScrapGal and I would like your input. What are some things you would like to see as a tutorial. Give me your suggestions :D

From my last Video I had a couple winners for some hand made flowers. Amy and Mandy they are going out in the mail Thurs. :) AND Always keep on the look out because there will be a give away on a few more hehehe.

  3. Your layouts and projects just take my breath away - I so love to see your creations! Really love the photos of your children on the TA layouts - just precious! And that birdhouse - just brilliant - and also love the card. I haven't seen a nook as we don't have a B&N but it looks interesting. Have a great week! BTW, I see that Scrapgal now has some copic markers so I hope to get some next month. Any particular colors you would suggest?
