This is my favorite project of last year. I created this altered book for Prima's booth and I finally get to show it to you :D I may be putting together a class on how to do this technique if anyone is interested. This is a fun way to reuse old books and give them a new life. Jack N Jill needed a little scenery.
Here is another book I had altered using the same idea a while back. I have a pile of books waiting to be altered. One is in the midst of becoming an art journal.
Hugs
Jamie
These are so beautiful! I adore altered books -- they are just so special. The cover on the first book is so sweet!

I keep planning on altering books but can just not cut into them - I will look for one today when I work at the used book store and you can be my inspiration and instigation.
