Explore, ATC's Bloom style!

Hi everybody!  Here in Puerto Rico the summer is on full blast, the sun is shinning and actually a bit of rain wouldn't hurt to cool ourselves!  Inspired in this warm weather I decided to take my Bloom girl out for a walk!
Let's start our journey!  Bring out Jamie's fab watercolor pad, that thing is really thirsty!!!!
measure and cut to 2.5" x 3.5" for your ATC's
Stamp your girl using Archival ink, this will get really wet!

Next add some modeling paste to the Circles stencil, behind your girl!
I'm using Faber Castell whipped spackle

Start adding your gelatos to create the blazing sun

the fun part coloring your girl!

using Glass Bead Glitter Gel adhere some micro beads for a finishing touch

Now you have a quick army of ATC ready to share among friends!

I filmed a short video on making them
Thanks for visiting and have fun Exploring!

Painting with Masking Tape...

I had a wild hair this weekend and wanted to try something different. I love the clean lines you get when you paint with masking tape so I thought why not give a original design a go. I have this crush on wood lately and I hate when paint runs in the grain of the wood sometimes. So...I HAD to try out the tape. Here is what I came up with...

Supplies: Piece of Beech wood 1'x2' that I got at Michaels Crafts, black spray paint by Krylon, Yellow and pink spray paint by Liquitex, white paint pen by Sharpie, Masking tape by Frogtape

Here is a quick still action video I made on how I created this piece. I had so much fun making this but man did it take a lot of photos lol If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

The original piece is now available on Etsy here.

If you try out this technique even if it's as simple as a few squiggles on a canvas, I would love to see it!!

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog; have a wonderful and creative week.

Happy Monday! Today I have a fun Shimmerz tutorial to share with you. These little artist trading cards are full of color and techniques. The techniques shown can be used on any scrapbook or mixed media project.

Here is the video on how I went about creating my little tidbits of inspiration.

Thank You
